Well yesterday was the second funeral in my family in the last month. This one was definitely not easy. Here is a poem that was written in memory of her:
Remembering Amelia
By Walter J. Schmidt Jr.
By Walter J. Schmidt Jr.
We'll remember you AmeliaA little angel come to pass.
Forever smiling happily,Walking barefoot in the grass.
We won’t forget your red hairYour blue eyes, or that smile.
You shared with all around youWith the innocence of a child.
We won’t forget your gentle sideA present from your dad.
He gave to you with all his heartWith everything he had.
We won't forget your temperThat gave your will to live.
Something special from your motherShe was more than glad to give.
We won’t forget the way you foughtYour strong will to survive.
We all wanted you to stay with usHere on earth ''alive''.
We won’t forget the pain we feltwhen it wasn't meant to be.
For God above, with different plansSaid ''she will live with me''.
We'll remember you AmeliaOur little angel come to pass.
Forever with that happy smile, Walking barefoot in the grass.
