Have you ever felt like God has overshadowed you, abandoned you, had no compassion, or cut you off, that He is withdrawn, an enemy or adversary, has been violent towards you, despised and rejected you? Well you're not alone, I am amazed at the honesty and openess of Jeremiah's accusations towards God's treatment of His people. But do we bring this on ourselves? Sometimes I think we do. Some good things to think about. Sit down with the book of Lamentations.

My Cousin Amelia

Well yesterday was the second funeral in my family in the last month. This one was definitely not easy. Here is a poem that was written in memory of her:

Something special from your motherShe was more than glad to give.
